<div style="text-align: center;">
two of my friends and I at the Hullabaloo ball a few years ago</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
There is a big difference I have found between the vintage makeup you wear for a normal day and that you wear when dancing. If you consider what would stay on while running on a treadmill with all the sweat running down but still looking perfect you can start to understand what its up against. I am not saying that all lindy hopper follows like to be vintage styled but they still want there makeup to look good. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
1. Base - it ether needs to be very light or very thick.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i.ysi.bz/Assets/65/785/L_p1011078565.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; display: inline !important; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://i.ysi.bz/Assets/65/785/L_p1011078565.jpg" width="200" /></a><a href="http://www.beautystat.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/P140906_hero.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; display: inline !important; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://www.beautystat.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/P140906_hero.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am not a fan of foundation in my normal makeup routine but do like to wear it when dancing. I have never re-purchased a foundation so I have had lots of experiences trying to find ones that work for dancing. Unlike foundation for normal activity you may be dancing anywhere from 3-4hrs at a weekly social dance to 10-12hrs at an exchange and unlike a normal workout you will stop/start dancing constantly making you sweat then dry off time after time. Foundation was not made for this type of thing but I have found that this is the best for dancing. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For a thick foundation I have found a matte liquid foundation or a stick foundation (can be a little hard to find , it has gone out of fashion a bit) works best. The cream manages to stick to the skin so well that when it re-settles after sweating it doesn't migrate too far. For a light foundation a tinted moisturiser that is not too shiny works well but it does come off more easily. If you have good looking skin to beguine with but just want to even it out a bit this is a good solution. One thing not to use is powder or any foundation that leaves a powder residue on the skin. When you sweat the powder clumps and settles into any lines or depressions on your skin so it looks patchy.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
2. Mascara - waterproof<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.covergirl.ca/en_ca/prodimages/volumeexact_waterproof_mascara_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://www.covergirl.ca/en_ca/prodimages/volumeexact_waterproof_mascara_1.jpg" width="123" /></a><a href="http://nubiamag.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/cg_clear-mascara.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; display: inline !important; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://nubiamag.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/cg_clear-mascara.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
I have had a few times when I've gone to the bathroom during a dance night to see black marks from mascara under my eyes from all the sweat. Sweat causes mascara to run so waterproof is the only way to go. Its still going to run a little but that's better than a waterfall of mascara running down your cheeks. I use to get my eyelashes permed and tinted so I could get away with using clear mascara over the top. A good trick is to also put a clear coat on first then the normal waterproof to stop fall out. If you are going to also use eyeliner a gel stays better and has less smudging and smearing when sweaty than a liquid liner or pencil. <br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
3. Lipstick - budge proof<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqXC2QpoN9YhpLtGPeb1GQ8Rn55mQpTmf6j5bAwJ_bfUa-az87c-vVW23w8ZMjxQClZWmenoMe2vvaZxFmTD4pmPTQ92UVb__S5EyKjUYAXdkSyAuCyGtU24utcMfort0MzAOM6apcqjk/s1600/loreal-lip-gloss-red-BFAB-0807-de.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqXC2QpoN9YhpLtGPeb1GQ8Rn55mQpTmf6j5bAwJ_bfUa-az87c-vVW23w8ZMjxQClZWmenoMe2vvaZxFmTD4pmPTQ92UVb__S5EyKjUYAXdkSyAuCyGtU24utcMfort0MzAOM6apcqjk/s200/loreal-lip-gloss-red-BFAB-0807-de.jpg" width="156" /></a><a href="http://www.allure.com/images/makeup-looks/2012/04/revlon-lip-stain-balm-just-bitten.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; display: inline !important; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://www.allure.com/images/makeup-looks/2012/04/revlon-lip-stain-balm-just-bitten.jpg" width="150" /></a></div>
<br />
For lindy lead most at one point or another has had a follow face plant into there chest while dancing and leaving them with a big lipstick mark on there clean shirt/t shirt making them a little weary of the red lips. One of my friends swears by covergirl outlast lipcolour to keep her lipstick stay on and not rub off and I have also found that a lip stain works well if its a non-matte affect I'm going for. A more detailed post <a href="http://vintagescientist.blogspot.de/2012/10/red-lippy.html">hear</a>. <br />

I will start this post by saying this I AM NOT PREGNANT! This is not why I am writing this. Last year I went to dinner with 2 of my girlfriends and one of my friends turned up in this beautiful 1940's vintage dress she bought in the US when on holiday. After finishing our starter of lots of good chili con queso and tortilla chips I was saying that I should have worn something with a little more stretch in it my friend said she did and un-did the tie of the dress then un-buttoned the side of the dress then re-tied the the tie and sat back down. I was amazed, I had never seen a vintage dress like it, she then told me that it was a 40's maternity dress that had buttons at the side so you could expand the front as the belly grew. After dinner I went home and jumped on etsy to find more and I was hooked.<br />

Unlike modern maternity wear that is stretchy and tight fitting the 40's maternity clothes where designed to be grow and shrink with you and be warn through multiple pregnancies and shared with friends or family who needed it (multiple pregnancies in quick secession where common, watch call the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_the_Midwife_(TV_series)">midwife</a> to understand). The intricacies of the construction are amazing with all the hooks/buttons/ties to gather the fabric so it can be let out as the baby grows. While looking I also found patterns to pregnancy skirts that are made with a large cut out for the belly and held closed by a tie. A cut out like that must have been a little cold, at least somethings are better now than in the 40's (thank you hormonal contraception and belly bands).<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I am a big lover of red lips and use to try and wear it every chance I got but I have always found that finding the best colour for me is a pain in the neck and not good for the bank balance ether.<br />
A little anecdote about my red lips one Friday after being at a very late night of dancing at Hullabaloo, not removing my makeup before going to bed and a very early day at work (and avoiding a mirror) I ended up going to work with a full face of 40's makeup and because I worked with men no one told me I had it on until morning tea when I went to the admin building and was asked about it. Was very embarrassed but when I asked the guys why didn't they tell me they replied "we thought you where going for a new look".<br />
<br />
If you like a good red lip you will probably be with me and have many colours of red with one never quite rite. Unfortunately I have found there is never just 1 that is universal, its too dark for summer or too light for winter, do you match it to your <a href="http://thebeautydepartment.com/2012/07/best-red-lip-shades-for-your-skin-tone/">skin</a> or to your hair, not appropriate for day time or night time. I have pale skin (ivory or porcelain base foundation normally with pink undertones) and have had every colour of hair from black to blond but try to keep to a pink undertone to match my skins.<br />
<br />
When purchasing a new colour of red if you are not at a makeup counter swatch the colour on your wrist or inner arm because it is lighter than back of your hand making it a better comparison to your face (the skin on your face is normally lighter than the rest of your body). If you are at a makeup counter ask if they have a mirror with natural light simulator (the colour will look different in fluro light than it does in natural) so you can see the difference. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GAdBmYc3K2c/UIHg89hqnLI/AAAAAAAADgE/L9HIdB2pcw8/s1600/DSCF4144.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="190" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GAdBmYc3K2c/UIHg89hqnLI/AAAAAAAADgE/L9HIdB2pcw8/s320/DSCF4144.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I have at the moment 4 lipsticks, 3 pencils, 1 lip stain and a lip gloss (it is edited down from what I use to have, that's not to say I am not still adding to it) which i find to be a good range for me. I like to also mix my colours to get the perfect shade for my mood or match it closer to my lip liner to make the blending invisible. If I only want a hint of colour I like to wear them more as stains than full coverage.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NjsAPc6ZnCc/UIHg_-AmGYI/AAAAAAAADgM/EwDyZeKcnK4/s1600/DSCF4145.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="285" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NjsAPc6ZnCc/UIHg_-AmGYI/AAAAAAAADgM/EwDyZeKcnK4/s320/DSCF4145.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
they look very close in colour but until you swatch them you can never tell the correct undertone</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-OXciQ3_uBNc/UIHhCt6LIuI/AAAAAAAADgU/s9fu5r1RsRo/s1600/DSCF4146.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="205" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-OXciQ3_uBNc/UIHhCt6LIuI/AAAAAAAADgU/s9fu5r1RsRo/s320/DSCF4146.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
as you can see, just because it looks red does not mean that they are the same<br />
from left - lipstick: db Red Hot Red, chanel Rouge Allure, alverde Alpine Rose, mac Russian Red, lip stain: catrice Red & The City, lip gloss: natio Love, lip pencil: manhattan 94T, natio Scarlett, unknown brand<br />
<br />
Keeping red lipstick in one place is also hard. There are many <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqG3wbrkREw">different ways of application</a> for red lips but if you want it to stay using the <a href="http://messywands.blogspot.de/2012/03/tutorial-red-lip.html">foundation/concealer technique</a> (a stick concealer works the best), <a href="http://thebeautydepartment.com/2012/07/lipstick-longevity/">powder technique</a> or <a href="http://www.keikolynn.com/2012/04/makeup-monday-on-tuesday-classic-beauty.html">the liner technique</a> are the best. To keep it on and looking good for hours even through eating (and avoid leaving a red mark on your partner) there are only 2 things not to use, any creamy formulas that make the lips shiny or/and are moisturizing to the lips, they are not made to last and the biggest no no is gloss it just slides off and all your hard work is gone ( if you want to use gloss use a stain then a gloss or a gloss with an in built stain). <br />
<br />
If anyone has any good tips to keep it in place please tell me, I am always looking for new ways<br />
<div>
<br />
p.s. if you want to go relay vintage match your nail colour to your lip stick</div>

Veggie burger (pattie made with yesterdays leftover couscous with fruit and nut and veggie stew with capsicum, onion, tomato, parsnip and mushrooms) spicy tomato sauce, remoulade with pickled gherkins and radishes, gouda cheese in a rye toasted bun with a side salad<br />

<br />
Downsides I have found to switching my diet<br />
- eating the same veggies for days or having leftovers and leftover leftovers<br />
Cooking for yourself is not fun when you always end up with lots of leftovers so the next day you have to eat it for dinner (and the next if there is too much the second time) and shopping is not fun because to have a good variety of veggies to use you need to buy enough that you eat the same veggies for 2 weeks straight. <br />
<div>
- wind<br />
Yes I know, it is not a nice thing to talk about, but when you start to eat more pulses and roughage veggies every day your tummy takes a while to get use to it and wind is the result, who knew. Luckily it only takes a few weeks for your tummy to get use to the change.<br />
- if I do eat meat I feel heavy and can only eat a little of it<br />
I have found not only can I eat a few peaces of it I also start to feel like I swallowed rocks and want to just lie down and digest it. My boyfriend says my stomach has shrunk from too many veggies. I also found the smell of cooked meat makes me feel queezy too.</div>

<br />
1. Everyday shampoo - Bübchen baby shampoo, no phosphates or sulfates in it and saves my hair from feeling greasy (a feeling that other shampoos do) and stops my hair from going brassy between toner treatments. It doesn't lather like normal shampoos do so I have to use more to do my full head and it has no scent, not even that powdery baby smell you get with other baby products <br />
<br />
2. Purple toner shampoo - Swiss O Par silver shampoo, I have found that the deeper the purple colour the better the result of removing the brassiness out of my hair. I tone my hair every 3 days and it keeps most of the yellow out of it but I always use my baby shampoo once to get rid of any oil build up before using the toner twice on my hair leaving it for about 2-3min each time before washing it out.<br />
<br />
3. Hair oil - Alverde hair oil, mine is an argan/almond oil mix that smells like freshly squeezed lemons. I only put it on the ends of my hair when it damp every few days because my hair is very fine but gets greasy very easily. I also use it on my damp hair before I blow dry it when it is cold weather. <br />
<br />
4. Hair cream - Vitapointe between wash conditioner with UV protection, you only need a pea size dollop of cream and goes on absolute dry (no moisture at all) hair and it makes your hair soft and keeps a curl or wave in my hair if i plat or bun my hair after putting it on my ends plus it doesn't change the colour of your hair like some oils can. I bought it in Australia where you can only get it in chemists but 1 tube lasts for ages.<br />
<br />
5. Hair dye - Garnier belle colour in number 111 extra light ash blond , at the moment I like a light ashier blond rather than a golden blond that I had been using (it is relay hard to find a ash blond dye at the shops I have only found 3) because it seams to suit my colouring seeing that my hair is naturally a dark ash blond colour but looks more sooty. I am a little disappointed that I can't dye my hair red but that will have to wait till I go back to Australia.<br />
<br />
6. Gradual tanner - Balea magic summer gradual tanner in normal, I have never been a big tan kind of person (natural or fake) mainly because I am a naturally pale person who burns easily plus if I do go dark I look ill but I do get a bit experimental just before spring when I will have to start showing my arms and legs again but only very light colour. The problem with tanners is that I go orange very quickly so I only use it for 2 days to start getting the colour and then once a week after that (that is how orange I can get if I use to much).<br />
<br />
7. Body lotion - Belea best age cream oil lotion, I am not a big fan of body lotions and normally just use olive oil if my skin feels dry but what I found from earlier this year is that my skin gets itchy with the central heating being on. I normally only need to put it on my elbows and my shins when they start to get dry. It is more of a thing that I use occasionally than every day and I know that I should start to use it more regally but I hate that stickiness you get when it doesn't all sink in.<br />
<br />
8. Perfume - Stella by Stella McCartney, my favorite perfume. I love the rose scent with a very woody notes. I have never been a big perfume person mainly because my skin can turn some perfumes into smelling like fly spray but I have found that that the more oils it has in it the better my skin reacts to it. I have to ration myself in putting it on because the 30mL bottle cost close to $80 in Australia and I only have a quarter of the bottle left. In Australia I have a big bottle of Stella McCartney Sheer that I like to wear in summer because the Stella is more of a winter scent. I love perfumes that smell very fresh/aquatic and I think my next will be one of them when I run out, maybe.<br />
<br />
9. Deodorant - Mum dry Active, I am not a big fan of deodorants because they normally smell so overpowering that it makes me gag but this one smells very "sporty floral" if that makes any sense and matches with my perfume well. For such a cheep deodorant it doesn't leave any white marks on clothing and does last all day and can withstand even dancing.Bethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12602789069804831746noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2242875079564803815.post-14099673386674100972012-10-07T11:43:00.000-07:002012-10-07T11:43:19.533-07:00food<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I always eat porridge when its cold. I use to eat it at work for breakfast or lunch depending on my mood or even dinner if I am feeling very lazy. It fills you up and on cold days it is just as good as soup but much quicker to make and incredibly cheep (most supermarkets in Germany sell it for 30-50 cents for 500g) . My favorite is to have it with fresh fruit like bananas, apples and pears or with fresh berries (especially blueberries) and greek or plain yogurt. Lately I have been having it with apfelmus which is a stewed apple pure or sultanas. On Friday I found apfelmus with sanddorn in bundikowski (bundikowski is a cross between a priceline/boots with a health food store) and decided to try it out. Sanddorn (known as <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea-buckthorn">Sea-buckthorn</a> in english) is a tart berry that is very high in vitamin C and I think makes apfelmus taste better than normal which can be super sugary sweet sometimes.</div>

<br />
I love skin products because I don't wear foundation base but I have always had very sensitive skin making buying skincare difficult because my skin does get red and itchy if I use something too harsh on it (I have had products that have felt like my skin was burning within a minute of putting it on my skin). I rarely wear foundation (even tinted moisturiser) because it drys my skin out making it flaky even with extra base of moisturiser under it plus the day after I can already see the little white heads appearing (I have even stopped putting concealer on any pimples I do get) I only use a little concealer to get rid of any dark colour under my eyes if I have any. I have also started to see more freckles appearing high on my cheeks just under my eyes probably where my sunglasses don't block on the sides and on my nose.I am normally good at slip,slop,slap but am a little paranoid of skin cancer because of how harsh the sun is in Perth but in Hamburg my skin has become very dull from the pollution, hard water and the lack of sunlight making my vit D intake low and having to try and get it through my diet. I am not a crazy beauty fanatic but at 26 I have people thinking I am 17-18 I know it's working.<br />
<br />
1. Sunscreen - Important!!! spf 30 UVA (I can't find a UVA/UVB in the shops), during summer I use sunscreen instead of moisturizer during the day on my face and if i have skin showing it is covered in sunscreen (I did forget to reapply on my last holiday and got the worst sun burn for years).<br />
<br />
2. Daily moisturiser - Clean & Clear essentials moisturiser spf 15 UVA/UVB (oil free), I use to use this exact moisturizer when I was in high school and have gone back to it after years of trying to find another one even though it is formulated for teenages. It is grate for summer (when working inside) when aircon can dry my skin and it doesn't clog my pores. my 100mL bottle I brought with me in March and I still have a 6th left, a little goes a long way.<br />
<br />
3. Night moisturiser - Olaz essentials moisturiser day cream for sensitive skin, I do like Olaz products (my mum has used them for years) because there sensitive range doesn't aggravate my skin. I use this if I am going out at night instead of the Clean & Clear because it doesn't have any spf in it plus I used it as my summer night cream.<br />
<br />
4. Eye cream - Belea eye cream with spf and Simple revitalising eye roll on gel, I use my roll on at night after taking off my eye makeup and use my eye cream during the day under my eye makeup<br />
5. Serum - Alverde alpine rose serum and Balea hyaluronic acid serum, I have been using the rose serum instead of a thick night cream. I tried to use the hyaluronic acid serum like the tube recommended but being basically a chemical exfoliant it broke my skin out badly so I have started to put it over my moisturiser only where I have started to get freckles.<br />
<br />
6. Face wash - Wellness & Beauty orange and pomegranate exfoliating wash, It is a body wash exfoliator not a face wash but it doesn't have many exfoliating crystals in it (being a travel size and very cheap) but I found when I was on holiday and ran out of face wipes that if I lathered it in my hand and then massaged it on my skin (while in the shower) it was not too abrasive but did remove all the grime and left my face feeling so nice and clean plus it did stop my breakouts that I normally get from wearing lots of sunscreen (I got it originally to use after the pools to get rid of the chlorine by lathering it straight on my body instead of my hands).<br />
<br />
7. Face wipes - Olaz complete face wipes, gets rid of all my makeup and the wipes do not feel like sandpaper unlike others I have used. They also don't seam to dry out so you get good use out of the whole pack and it isn't soaked in so much liquid you have to ring them out before using them.<br />
<br />
8. Lip balm - Natio lip balm spf 30 and Aliqua anti aging lip balm, My lips are constantly dry and cracked so I use huge amounts of lip balm and I love my Natio lip balm so much (I brought 8 sticks with me and have 3 on the go all the time) because it isn't too greasy an, has no taste or smell but lasts ages on. I got the Aliqua for night time and it has a eucalyptus smell that helps my sinuses at night but it does in the morning leave my mouth tasting a bit like I ate wood.<br />
<br />
9. Hand/Foot cream - Dr Scheller calendula hand balm, it is very waxy so it stays on your hands for ages making them feel so soft. I don't wear rubber gloves when I am doing the pots so I put it on after to stop them drying out from the washing up liquid but I also found that it is amazing on my feet where my heels are cracked and any blisters. At under <span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small; line-height: 16px;">€</span>2 I am going to stock up.<br />
<br />
10. Baby cream - Babydream baby cream, All it is is a nappy rash cream and when my skin is crazy dry (normally around my nose) it calms it down and I also use it as an intensive skin night treatment or as a cream face wash if it gets very dirty.<br />
<br />

Today was an epic cooking day. It started off yesterday when I decided to make soup and decided that I could half the cooked down pulp to make pumpkin scones. I saw that the pears in the fruit bowl where going soft so I decided to make a pear and ginger cake out of it. I spend most of my days home by myself and have found amazing pleasure in cooking tricky dishes.</div>

I am not the best at getting them to <a href="http://aww.ninemsn.com.au/food/freshtv/790851/pumpkin-scones">rise big and fluffy</a> (unless i cheat and use the CWA packet mix you can get from the supermarket in Australia) so they became more of a biscuit/fat cracker and i used a butternut pumpkin (that are quite sweet) so I didn't add any sugar in making them useful for savory and sweet </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I do not normally have any big cravings for Australian food (apart from Vegemite on toast) but since my boyfriend and I moved to Germany he has had 2 cravings, Australian style fish and chips and beef sausage rolls. I was going to save making it till his birthday in November but on Friday I had a craving for spinach and ricotta rolls so I bought all the ingredients and this afternoon set aside some time to make some from scratch. I used this recipe for the <a href="http://www.food.com/recipe/spinach-and-ricotta-rolls-389571">spinach and ricotta rolls</a> and this for the <a href="http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/7246/beef+sausage+rolls">beef sausage rolls</a> but tweaked it to our taste. I managed to make 2 of each and had one for dinner tonight and another for the freezer to have another time. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Loving: Making the best of the last good sunny weather before it starts to get cold again. I have spent large amounts of time at the "Beach Bars" (in the loosest sense of a beach) basking in the warm evenings drinking Mojitos while hanging out with friends has been a fun highlight to my quite repetitive days. Hamburg is a city that in fine weather is one of the most beautiful cites in Germany so going to the parks have been a favorite outing for me and my boyfriend on the weekends. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anticipating: Christmas time. I have never had a cold Christmas and everyone has told me that the best thing about December is the Christmas markets. Hot mulled wine, traditional baked goods and lots of traditional wooden ornaments. I am also hoping for some snow seeing that I have never seen any but Hamburg unfortunately is not known for snowing during winter but I can always hope. I will miss not having my family around for Christmas and even though an Australian Christmas is hot it has not yet hit the hottest part of summer so being outside is the norm and everyone is always in the party mood. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Listening to/ Reading/ Watching: I finally got round to watching season 3 of Offspring. I did watch the whole of the first season and most of the second season but being in Germany when the third came out an Australian friend of mine told me about a live streaming website to find it on I got straight into it and I love the drama and humor balance that it manages to have. During my time in Herrang (a place that you no explanation can ever capture what ti is relay like, next time I will have to go for 2 or 3 weeks) I read the book Call The Midwife in my non dancing time and became obsessed with it. While reading it I was told by an English friend of mine that it had been made into a tv series and when I got back home instantly started watching the it. I can recommend that even though it is a very good tv series to read the book, it has so much more impact on you on how these women lived and how hard it was to bring a child into the world and most of all the dickensian squalor that was still prevalent into the 50's. I have also been getting into many British tv murder series with my favorite being Hetty Wainthropp Investigates (a grandma private detective), Rosemary and Thyme (crime solving gardeners) and The Bletchley Circle (4 ex Bletchley park code crackers trying to find a murderer). </div>

The summer weather in Hamburg has officially left us and the days are starting to get cold, grey and dark again. I have started to layer up when going out instead of just throwing on a cardigan over a singlet or t shirt and having to remember to put socks on to keep my feet warm. Yesterday I went into TK Maxx to scope out there men's winter clothing for my boyfriend (he hates shopping but needs a new work jumper) I also went to look in the kids section which is on the same floor and found myself a new hoodie. It is a girls Billabong hoodie with fake sheepskin lining and a detachable fur trim on the hood. It is so warm and being a kids jumper it is not too long like I find with adults sizes (being 5'2 and a size 6 means kids clothes fit better, even better than petite specific clothing) and the best bit is it only cost <span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small; line-height: 16px;">€</span>13 with the original retail price being close to <span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small; line-height: 16px;">€</span>90. </div>

I use this method for making <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDG6FCh0Gds&feature=g-like">perfectly cooked rice noodles</a> but I then after draining them pour over boiling water till they are warm and they come out the texture of just over al dente pasta</div>

This may sound a little disgusting but I am not a big fan of kidney beans and on a cold night when I am not in the mood to take a long time making dinner it's hot and fills you up, plus I relay like the sauce in Heinz baked beans (I have never found a cheap version that tastes as good).</div>

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PkHo0VW3zOY/UES9FfqxqwI/AAAAAAAADEA/KvxbXShWjHI/s1600/6a00d83451c0f869e201675f748711970b-800wi.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PkHo0VW3zOY/UES9FfqxqwI/AAAAAAAADEA/KvxbXShWjHI/s400/6a00d83451c0f869e201675f748711970b-800wi.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Over the past few weeks since coming back from my holidays I have made some changes to my diet. After living in Germany for 7 months I have started to dislike the traditional German food being very bland, too much cream sauces, everything dripping in fat and most meat being pork (a meat that is not eaten a lot in Australia) because of this I have made a conscious effort to change my diet and become vegetarian.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I do normally eat veg only dishes at least 3 times a week and was vegetarian for a time in my teen but never put a lot of effort into it. My Auntie Vera and Uncle Ted have been vegetarian for years and every time I have cooked for them at family events I have always checked labels for animal products or just made the whole meal vegetarian so I know how easy it is to make good food that is delicious. I have also been very interested in "WW2 ration diet" for years that is mostly a vegetarian diet with low animal fat intake being obsessed with WW2 history.I have always loved eating anything with spices in but unless I want to eat currywurst (tomato sauce with curry powder) I have to make it at home anyway with ingredients from the Middle Eastern or Asian supermarkets if I want any strong flavors. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Some of the big reasons are:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- I no longer have to cook dinner for 2 people every night or eat dinner after 7pm when he gets home every night. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- The cost of beef and lamb are extortionate and to buy it for only one person is wasteful </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- I have a yeast allergy that stops me from eating lots of bread, crackers, crisps and pre-packaged food (read the labels, you will be surprised) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- I get bad stomach problems (IBS is what they all say) when I eat white pasta, white bread, fatty pastries (Germans love there bakeries and I live with 5 in about a 3min walking distance) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- I don't like pork that much (never relay have ever, I once went for nearly 2 years without eating any pork product including bacon) and chicken that costs 2Euros a Kg is not the best for you</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
I am not going crazy and cutting out all animal products from my diet, I am still eating eggs and dairy products, but am trying to have 2 vegan meals a week and eat raw food as much as possible. I do not eat soy products and have not done so for years so (I have my reasons!!) so I do not just swap meat in recipes for tofu making cooking a very interesting experiences of forward planning to find other forms of protein and iron.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Xrm5BCx-k30/UES9L78Ar3I/AAAAAAAADEQ/SfoBtbrebqg/s1600/6a00d83451c0f869e201761756b332970c-800wi.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Xrm5BCx-k30/UES9L78Ar3I/AAAAAAAADEQ/SfoBtbrebqg/s400/6a00d83451c0f869e201761756b332970c-800wi.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The good things about eating vegetarian:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- less processed foods that are high in fat and salt and less pre-packaged meals and sauces</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- fresh, frozen and dried veggies are cheap and more nutritious and non wheat grains (polenta, couscous, quinoa, amaranth) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- I can monitor the amount of fat that is added to my food and make them good fats (olive oil, avocado, nuts) and the amount of dairy I eat (eg. swapping cream for yogurt in recipes) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- using alternative grains than just eating bread and pasta (eg. swapping rice noodles where I would normally use pasta) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- finding new recipes to cook and trying veggies that I wouldn't normally eat (ether because they are not popular in Australia or my boyfriend would hate it) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DNg5AZNgG2Q/UES9N1vee1I/AAAAAAAADEY/IR_WOZPL9Qk/s1600/7801547888_926c5dedc1_c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DNg5AZNgG2Q/UES9N1vee1I/AAAAAAAADEY/IR_WOZPL9Qk/s400/7801547888_926c5dedc1_c.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The benefits I have already found:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- feel better in general, things are "moving" better</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- a lot more variety in diet and flavors </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- any problems with food can be easily identified and removed from my diet</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- my skin is looking better with fewer breakouts and my moods are more even (no big PMS mood swings seen)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- much less money spent at the supermarket because of having fresh food and planing meals ahead of time</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xrd5jC5mVj8/UES9UN8BsII/AAAAAAAADE0/w2V5-3joxFk/s1600/IMG_9784web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xrd5jC5mVj8/UES9UN8BsII/AAAAAAAADE0/w2V5-3joxFk/s400/IMG_9784web.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The problems/disadvantages I have found:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- going to restaurants and having a vegetarian meal normally consists of veggies dripping in mountains oil, cheese or cream (this includes salads), marked as vegetarian but made with chicken stock/containing bacon as a garnish or potatoes,potatoes,potatoes</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- ate a vegetarian hot dog and had the worst food poisoning ever (nearly had to go to hospital)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
- having to buy meat for my boyfriend if he decides to eat at home and always having to throw half of it out that doesn't get cooked or frozen making the freezer full of glad wrapped packs of meat </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

At the moment I am not going militant vegetarian, I have had beef when I ate out with my boyfriend at a steak restaurant and kangaroo meat at a work function because I do love it, but having a little of what you like is not so bad and having lots of what is good for you is always a good thing. I hope that it all works. </div>

<span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span><br />
<b><span style="background-color: white;">Loving</span>:</b> HOLIDAYS. I am finally on my holiday from Germany and loving the over 30C heat every day. I have already spent my 3 days in Vienna and 9 days in Slovakia and am now in Budapest chilling out. I am such a hostel people kind of girl finding new friends every day and having new experiences almost hourly. Finding a little bar in 2nd District in Vienna filled with only locals listening to Brazilian music and talking german all night until being kicked out by the bar owner at 3am. Sitting on deckchairs at a beach bar in Bratislava drinking cheap Mojitos in the afternoon sun overlooking the Danube. Taking a train into the Tatras mountains seeing amazing scenery. Going on a pub crawl with 6 17-18yo guys from my dorm room and dancing like a crazy in a Budapest nightclub to dubstep and feeling like I had 6 brothers.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="background-color: white;">Anticipating</span>: </b>Going to Herrang for 7 days of crazy Lindy hop heaven. After 2 attempts of dancing in Hamburg I am ready for some serious dancing. I have already started to make my costume for the Friday night party (pirates and parrots), I'm going as a parrot and have been cutting feathers out of a dress (that doesn't relay explain it well) and will have to find a way to make some wings that are still practical enough to dance with. I am also so happy to see my friends there after being away from Australia for 4 months. I am also looking forward to spending some time in Stockholm and Copenhagen but not the amount of money it will cost. <br />
<br />
<b><span style="background-color: white;">Hating</span>: </b>Having to lug my bags around all the time every few days. Living out of a very small trolley duffle bag that mostly contains dance shoes and a sleeping bag. I am already finding that some of my things will have to be throw out as soon as i get to Copenhagen.<br />
<b><br /></b><br />
<b>Listening to/Watching/Reading: </b>I have been on a very limited amount of reading and watching time. I have found that I like to just listen to podcasts on long train journeys and look at the amazing scenery that is outside or talk to other travelers and make new friends. One movie that I have watched is <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Decoy_Bride">The Decoy Bride</a> about a celebrity wedding held on the tiny Scottish island of Hegg where the bride runs away from the press and they get a local girl to stand in so that the press doesn't know that the bride is missing but unfortunately the decoy signs the registry with her own name and hilarity inures. I also picked up a si-fi book at my 1st hostel to read but was so boring that I have now swapped it for <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hitchhiker's_Guide_to_the_Galaxy">The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy</a>. I have seen the movie and listened to the radio play but have never read the book so now <span style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">I have the perfect</span> chance.<br />
<b><br /></b><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Eating: </b>Everything. I have tried so much local food that now I am back to salads. So much roast meat with cream and oil and pastries with sugar, sugar, sugar. I have to say my favorite has been in Slovakia having <span style="background-color: #f9f9f9; line-height: 15px; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">Bryndzové pirohy ( kind of like ravioli with cheese filling) and </span></span><span style="background-color: #f9f9f9; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span style="line-height: 15px;">Bryndzové halušky ( mini potato dumplings with sheep cheese sauce) but so unhealthy. I hopefully will get to eat some nice Scandinavian food soon too. One good thing is that I can eat pickled gherkins with everything without my boyfriend making the yuck face at me. </span></span></span></div>

<br /></div>
<b>Hating:</b> This is a new tag that I have added to this post because it has been a big reason of why I have not been blogging at all.<br />
1st is that after 2 weeks of reasonably warm weather (25-28C) it has started to just rain every day and gone grey so that you have to take a coat/scarf/umbrella/socks with shoes just to go out to get a coffee. I have been staying inside and getting a little cabin fever from it.<br />
2nd is that our hot water system has completely craped its self so now if I want any heat for a shower I have to go to the swimming pool and pay 6Euros to have a communal shower and bath, we are meant to have a new one installed but with going away in 2 weeks I am not holding my breath.<br />
3rd is that my skin has gone crazy with dry patches with pimples as well and dandruff. I started seeing the dandruff about 2 months ago and taught that it could be from bleaching my hair so I dyed it a red but that made it stand out even more and the red washed out in a week so I bleached it back to a light copper colour and made a colour depositing conditioner with a copper semi-permanent colour and started with a anti dandruff shampoo. My skin is crazy, I have had to stop using all face products and just ride it out until it starts to behave its self again, so I am trying not to irritate it at all. The funny thing is that a friend of mine from Australia who also lives in Hamburg has found that the same thing has happened to her skin and hair so it may be the water that is too harsh on the skin.<br />
4th is that after being a little laxed with my diet my food allergies have come back. I have had to stop eating wheat with yeast products at home and limit them when I am out. I am stopping eating pastries and any fat rich products including cheese and processed meat. I was going fine until we went to Munich for 4 days and by the 3rd morning I felt so bloated and had surges of nausea from eating Bayern food that I only ate fish and salad for a whole week until I felt back to normal. <br />
<br />
<b>Anticipating: </b>My holiday that has now become going to Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Sweden and Denmark. I am well aware of how much money it will cost but am in a serious need of some alone time to do things that I want to do and see friends from Australia so that I can be silly without caring what people think of me. I have also started to get more into my craft stuff so I am looking forward to see where that takes me.<br />
<br />
<b>Listening to/Watching/Reading:</b> I have been obsessed with the tv show <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criminal_Minds">Criminal Minds</a> and have been going threw all the 7 series in the past few weeks. It is a very dark tv show compared to the other cop dramas that I normally watch but I love the cast and just get so sucked into the story line. My favorite character is Dr <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spencer_Reid">Spencer Reed</a> (played by Matthew Gray Gulber) because he is geeky smart but still an FBI agent with a gun. He has a cool geek chic thing going on with the converse sneakers, ray ban glasses, long messy hair and vintage tweed slacks with cardigans or vests but with the shorter cut in season 6 and 7 he has a serious hottie thing going on. I have been listening to <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qykl">In our time</a> podcasts from the BBC that is a panel of experts that discuss historical events with each having a different opinion and interpretation of the event. I find them very good to lisen too when on the train or to help me fall a sleep at night. I have also just finished the book <a href="http://www.amazon.com/A-Rage-Harlem-Chester-Himes/dp/0679720405">A Rage in Harlem</a> by Chester Himes that was written as a pulp fiction novel in the 50's. It was a very good read but I relay didn't like the main character so it made getting to the end hard but because I like pulp fiction crime novels I will probably read some of his other books.<br />
<br />
<b>Missing:</b> The sun and being warm but hopefully that will correct its self when I am away and I will come back to some real summer weather. I am also starting to miss working and am hoping that when I get back in August I can start some serious job searching and get back into a lab.<br />

I am going on an epic month trip next month but have cropped up with a very interesting problem. I am going to a Pohoda music festival in Slovakia during my 1st week away and then traveling around and then going to Herrang lindy exchange in my 3rd week.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaUD7Hhry_E0SgkCueT992fgwEg_Zgx-p0pBemSzuFsvluQgoWOdac3ZyWtaH_OJ0e94B_ls1hcCJUt4V8gDLuDAOgO1rstagO4f5hAHoz6EfP9qOctYLLbEknOGq5Zu-mIGNxhDbWiIZr/s1600/ladies-pitching-canvas-tent.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaUD7Hhry_E0SgkCueT992fgwEg_Zgx-p0pBemSzuFsvluQgoWOdac3ZyWtaH_OJ0e94B_ls1hcCJUt4V8gDLuDAOgO1rstagO4f5hAHoz6EfP9qOctYLLbEknOGq5Zu-mIGNxhDbWiIZr/s320/ladies-pitching-canvas-tent.jpg" width="240" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdA8SfRLeHyeTyIpy7JzwcFFDRnUPkzQj-_4kBh1_1oe6Y__mP7YgxuQRqtCc_G7NmCc-TpjB6979QH-blhEtxXBHJdXN37Az7qnHyOkwgSMAG4w5_bjTnArfDV67jHXFcczh-NxnBeVdK/s1600/image007.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="254" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdA8SfRLeHyeTyIpy7JzwcFFDRnUPkzQj-_4kBh1_1oe6Y__mP7YgxuQRqtCc_G7NmCc-TpjB6979QH-blhEtxXBHJdXN37Az7qnHyOkwgSMAG4w5_bjTnArfDV67jHXFcczh-NxnBeVdK/s320/image007.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The problem is this, I am having to take a tent, sleeping bag and mat to the festival for camping but for Herrang I am going to be dancing so I need more shoes and clothes due to the sweat factor, how much stuff is too much. I hate having to carry around a big suitcase just for camping stuff but looking at having to take 5-6 pairs of shoes is also not a fun thing.<br />
<br />
I am not going to be camping at Herrang (I hope) but I will still have to lug everything around with me because I will still want to use it in the future. My suitcase is so big and bulky it is very hard to drag around (plus most of the airlines only allow me 15kg checked luggage) but I might have to buy a very cheap duffle bag with wheels to carry all my camping gear and extra lindy clothing. <br />
<br />

On the plus side I have been looking at some very cool style inspiration for the festival that can be easily transformed for lindy. Thinking a 40's <span style="font-family: inherit;">sporty outdoors chic style mixed with 70's boho hippy prep style. Lots of cute sunglasses, scarfs, playsuit/shorts, brights and neutrals mixed together. Both Herrang and Pohoda is a real </span>excuse<span style="font-family: inherit;"> to dress as crazy as you like without people looking at you like a </span>complete<span style="font-family: inherit;"> crazy.</span></div>

Not only do I love the movie Practical Magic but I also love Nicole Kidman's amazing ginger hair. I have dyed my hair back to a ginger (more of a cherry than a ginger) because the bleaching was wrecking my hair but I may need to pre-lighten my hair and then dye over it. The only problem is that that shade of copper/ginger washes out super fast that it needs to be dyed every 2 weeks to keep the colour at its best.Bethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12602789069804831746noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2242875079564803815.post-83938744401047889472012-05-13T07:27:00.003-07:002012-05-13T07:27:29.767-07:00to mum<div style="text-align: center;">

<b>Loving:</b> Being able to have weekends away that don't cost a small fortune. My weekend in Prague only cost 200Euros for travel, accommodation and spending money. If I was still in Perth it would easily cost over $500 just for travel if going over east or the same if going to Margaret river.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Thinking about:</b> My birthday next weekend. It will be strange not having my family around for it but I am going to have a friend visiting from Perth that weekend so we will be partners in crime. We will be going out and having a grate time.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Anticipating:</b> Going on a nice long holiday in July. I have already got my plane ticket for Vienna and have received my festival tickets for Pohoda Festival in Slovakia. I am thinking of maybe heading to Budapest as well but may be tempted to go to <a href="http://www.herrang.com/">Herrang</a> dance camp for a week (it is in Sweden so it will cost a lot).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Listening to/Watching:</b> More<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-size: 16px; line-height: 22px;"> </span><span style="background-color: white;"><a href="http://theminutespodcast.tumblr.com/" style="font-size: 16px; line-height: 22px;">The Minutes</a><span style="line-height: 22px;"> podcasts and there advice podcast </span><a href="http://theminutespodcast.tumblr.com/ask" style="font-size: 16px; line-height: 22px;">You're Welcome</a><span style="line-height: 22px;">, it totally cracks me up all the time. I am so obsessed with the TV show </span><a href="http://www.cwtv.com/shows/hart-of-dixie" style="line-height: 22px;">Hart of Dixie</a><span style="line-height: 22px;"> and so sad to know that next week is the last episode but exited to know what happens. I am also loving watching the German dubbed <a href="http://www.blogger.com/goog_1196281738">Disney's P</a></span></span><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phineas_and_Ferb" style="line-height: 22px;">hineas and Ferb</a><span style="line-height: 22px;"> because it is so silly cartoon but really easy</span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 22px;"> to follow in German.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Eating: </b>Healthy. All this heavy German food (bratwurst) and sugary pastries (you can't walk for more than 5min before getting to a bakery) have started to make me feel very ill. I also managed to pick up a tummy bug in Prague that is still not making me feel well so I am trying to flush it out of my system. Also the weather has been fluctuating between warm and raining that I am not wanting such stodgy food to keep warm.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Missing:</b> Sausage rolls from the bakery (beef costs a fortune that everything is made of pork, even lamb is very hard to find), seeing the sun for more than 10min a day, my family and not having to go to 3 supermarkets to get all my grocery shopping in one outing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Wishing:</b> That my money will stretch a little further than I think it will.</div>
